letter to a friend

God knows that the natural mind of man will seek  to go its own way,

and discouragement and a feeling of inadequacy would set in, even after we commit our lives to God.

So God, in His infinite wisdom, decided to send the Holy Spirit to dwell

within the person who has chosen God's way.

The Spirit of truth seeks to dwell within a vessel, whose heart is broken, whose spirit is humble.

The vessel has become the holy temple of the Holy Spirit.

Nothing unclean or sinful should dwell together with the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit will cause you to desire holiness, to get rid of sinful ways.

The Counselor will advise you against evil and wicked thoughts and desirs.

The Spirit will lead you into repentance, causing you to see the truth,

and putting a desire in you to want to change.

God will take you through life by giving you the help you need

to overcome all circumstances.

So the Lord is saying to you....

 To know God, you've to read the Word, for the Word is God.

It's like reading God's mind, and His thoughts and plans.

But God cannot be in your heart,

if you're not ready to receive Him,

for your heart needs to be cleansed first,

in order for Him to dwell in your heart.

All the unrighteousness, unforgiveness, bitterness, negative thoughts

have to be uprooted and taken away,

before God can draw close to you.

Seek God with a broken heart, and a humble spirit.

If you only have faith as small as a mustard seed,

you shall see drastic changes in every aspect of your life.

Trust in Him; never give up hope in God

for He'll never let you go; neither will He forsake you.

He's always there to help, to watch over you to protect you.

Therefore be obedient to His calling, and you shall be blessed.

Make right with God, and renew your covenant with God

for our God is a covenant-keeping God.

Our God is indeed full of grace and mercy;

His grace and mercy are new every morning.

Therefore continue to have faith and trust in Him.

How can you receive the Holy Spirit?

Repent of your sins; come with a broken and contrite spirit before the Lord.

Be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ, the Lord and saviour of your life,

and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

To be led is to listen.

As we listen, we begin to bear the fruit of the Spirit,

we become more filled with love,joy, peace, patience, kindness,

goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Thank you for caring for me ,i appreciate the wonderful words you have sent me.

Currently my spirit is low.I have accepted God as my savior ,

but at the moment i see no light for tomorrow.

It is as if God is far away in my prayer .

i have given up pleading with God to come to my assistance

and i accept this is the way God is intending the course of my life .

Please pray for me .]

With men, not all things are possible.

But with God, all things are possible to those who believe.

Even in the darkest night that seems to last forever,

when there's no more light, no more hope,

like in Acts 27 when all hope was gone...

even then God can work all things out for good to those who lov the Lord.

Nothing is too big for God.

For God miracle is a small thing, but what God seeks is your heart.

A faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains of obstacles;

it can work a miracle in the power and will of God.

Miracle does not happen during the storm, but at the peak of the storm.

God is much closer to you than you ever thought or imagined;

He's as near as the confession of your mouth.

Like in the parable of the Prodigal son,

God is long-suffering, patient, and a loving and waiting Father.

He's not the stern, punishing god you see in movies.

But God is a righteous God, and in the last days you'll see

such evil and wickedness no man has ever seen or see again,

and only then God moves in judgment,

or else how can God be a righteous God?

So the Lord is saying to you...

.

Nothing is too big or too small for Me.

Your feelings are not too small for Me to notice;

your worries and circumstances are not too big for Me to handle.

Just imagine Me holding the heavens and the earth in the palm of My hand!

You're only a small dot of My creation, and yet you mean everything to Me!

Just imagine how wonderful I AM.

I AM speaking to you, but you're not listening!

Pay good attention to the still, small voice in you,

the Holy Spirit that's in you.

Be still, and let your mind be clear

when you seek Me.

Lay all your burdens at My feet.

Find rest for your soul in Me.

Right now you're feeling hopeless and very tired,

because you just would not see Me

as your friend you can truly trust,

and as your Comforter in your times of troubles.

You must let go and open up,

and allow Me to come in and sup with you.

Do not see Me as a very distant God you cannot reach out to.

In truth, I desire very much to draw close to you,

but first, you've to have the right concept of Me,

and let Me come into your life.

My encounters with people come in many different ways.

Do not be anxious for in My perfect time and will,

you shall have your personal encounter with Me.

In My perfect time that is.

I treasure the times people spent with Me,

and I just want to hug and embrace everyone forever.

But at the same time, I want everyone to grow up,

and be matured spiritually.

So My son, pray and fast and read My Word,

and you shall certainly see your life forever changed,

and you'll see Me in your life.

It's a promise. God honors His Word.

The grace and mercy of God is new every morning.

You can draw near to God's grace and mercy without fear.

Only do not let your pride or wrong-thinking or fear hinders you.

You must let go all bitterness and negative thoughts into the raging sea of God's forgetfulness.

And start to think positive, letting the Word renews your mind, through the Holy Spirit.(Phil 4:8)

You must humble yourself, so that God can lift you up.

Allow mercy and love control you.

Allow God's arms to embrace you.

Even when you go through darkness and you cannot see God's hand,

you must still believe even if you cannot see.

That's faith. Abraham knew not where he was going; he trusted in the Word of God spoken to him.

We walk by faith, not by sight.

God honors His Word. Everything will pass away, but the Word still remains.

Therefore cling unto His Word and just believe!

This is your salvation.

Do not lose hope.

In God, there is always hope.

For God, nothing is too big.

Only need to believe.

May the Lord comfort your soul,

and give you rest,

and a peace beyond human understanding.

Only be thankful and grateful,

so that God can bless you

more of His grace and mercy and peace. Amen.

May His peace be with you,

and His angels encamp around as you've a good sleep.
